Cambridge International AS-A Level Islamic Studies (9488)

Ages 16+ | Two-Year Programme

An advanced and in-depth study of Islamic theology, jurisprudence, history, and contemporary issues. Topics include the Islamic worldview, legal schools, the Abbasid and Umayyad legacy, and modern global challenges.

  • Developed for pre-university or adult learners seeking academic depth
  • Final exam is optional and subject to exam centre availability

Both programmes follow syllabi developed by Cambridge Assessment International Education, a department of the University of Cambridge. These qualifications:
